Venue & Access

The Connichi takes place annually in the Kongress Palace Kassel since 2003.

Kassel is located in the very heart of Germany and can be reached easily by public transportation from all directions. The ICE station and the main station are each less than a kilometer away from the Kongress Palais Kassel.

Please note: There are few parking spaces on site. We strongly recommend using the public transport.

From highway A7 or A44 take the route via A49 (Kassel Südtangente), exit Kassel-Auestadion. Change to B3 bound Norden/Stadion, follow the road which turns into Ludwig-Mond-Straße and then into Schönfelder Straße. Cross Wilhemshöher Allee after about 4km, straightforward onto the Querallee.

After about 420m turn left into Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. Follow the road for about 1.3 km, the city hall is located on the right side.

Directions with public transport

Starting at ICE train station Wilhelmshöhe, take the tram line 4 towards Kaufungen Papierfabrik/Helsa for three stations, exit at stop Kongress Palais. Please note the Kongress ticket offer for 99 Euro in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn.

Starting at Kassel main station, take the regional train or regional tram 5 towards Melsungen to ICE train station Wilhelmshöhe. Alternatively, take regional tram 5 towards Auestadion to the stop Rathaus and change to tram line 4 towards Mattenberg to the stop Kongress Palais. You can also take the bus starting on the station courtyard (right side exit) towards Königsplatz/Mauerstraße and change at Königsplatz to tram line 4 towards Mattenberg to the stop Kongress Palais.
