1.2 For orders of tickets for the Connichi 2020 via the internet only the present conditions apply, which you accept by sending your order.

1.3 The following terms and conditions for attending the event shall apply between the holder of an admission ticket (“visitor”) and Animexx e.V. as the organiser of Connichi (“organiser”). Additional rules of conduct (costume and weapon rules, house rules) further apply to visits to the Connichi. You can find them on the website of the Connichi 2020 under the following links and . There will also be a posting in the entrance area of the Connichi. Every visitor acknowledges the rights and obligations in these terms and conditions as well as the house rules and the costume and weapon regulations.

2. Liability of the organiser

The contractual and legal liability of the organiser for damages of any kind whatsoever is excluded.
This exclusion does not apply to damages caused intentionally or grossly negligently by the organizer.
The exclusion furthermore does not apply in cases of simple or slight negligence on the part of the organiser for damages based on injury to life, body or health, as well as for the negligent violation of essential contractual obligations by the organiser. Essential contractual obligations are all obligations for which the fulfilment is essential for the proper realisation of the contract and the observance of which the visitor regularly relies on and may rely on.
In cases of slight or simply negligent violation of essential contractual obligations, the liability of the organiser – with the exception of damages to life, body or health – is limited to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable for the organizer at the time of conclusion of the contract or at the time of committing the breach of duty. In this respect the liability of the organiser for damages, which are exclusively attributable to the risk area of the visitor, is excluded.
The above exclusions and limitations of liability also apply to the liability of the organiser for its organs, employees and vicarious agents as well as the personal liability of the organs, employees and auxiliary agents of the Organiser.

II. Advance sale of tickets

1. Online advance sale and daily box office

1.1 Advance ticket sales for the Connichi 2020 start on Saturday, 9th November 2019 at 12:00 pm.

1.2 Online sales will end on Friday, 11th of August 2020 while stocks last. Tickets are limited.

1.3 A maximum of 10 tickets (max. at 5 of each ticket type) can be ordered online in advance. Only one ticket order can be made per person. We check the bookings and combine orders.

1.4 The club member discount can only be granted once per order per ticket type.

1.5 For the gold ticket the following quotas apply: gold ticket (400 available). All other ticket types will be sold as long as supplies last. There is no entitlement to tickets from a certain advance sale category (especially in the event of technical problems in advanced sales). If a ticket purchase is cancelled, it will go directly back to sale in the respective price category, a reservation or waiting list for this is not possible.

1.6 The price for a ticket depends on the date of order. There are three phases of sale: Phase 1 (Momiji) from 09.11.2019 to 31.12.2019, Phase 2 (Sakura) from 01.01.2020 to 31.03.2020 and Phase 3 (Himawari) from 01.04.2020 to 11.08.2020. You can find the cost of tickets during each phase on our ticket site.

1.7 On the day of the event there will be a box office on site where tickets can be purchased at the on-site price. An extra contingent is planned for this. Reservations for the on-site contingent of tickets are not possible.

2. Conclusion of contract and payment at online advance sale

2.1 By ordering tickets via the website, the buyer submits an offer of contract. The contractual partner Animexx e.V. as organiser of Connichi accepts the offer by sending an order confirmation. By sending the order confirmation, the contract between the ticket buyer and Animexx e.V. as organiser of Connichi becomes binding.

2.2 Payment methods are bank transfer and credit card (Master and Visa).

2.3 Upon receipt of the order confirmation, the purchase payment becomes due immediately.

2.4 If payment is made by bank transfer, the purchase price must be paid immediately upon reception of the order confirmation, but no later than 14 days after reception of the order confirmation. This serves the interests of all potential visitors who would also like to purchase a ticket for the event.

3. Right of withdrawal of the organiser in case of late payment

3.1 ATTENTION: The organiser is entitled to cancel an order of a purchaser, for which an order confirmation has already been sent, after setting a reasonable deadline for subsequent performance, if full payment has not been made within 14 days of reception of the order confirmation (right of withdrawal). The purchaser will then no longer be entitled to the tickets ordered. These will be sold by the organiser to other interested parties.

3.2 In the interest of all potential visitors there are no excuses for late payments. Partial payments (e.g. ordering two tickets but only one ticket is paid on time) will not be accepted. In this case the complete order will be cancelled.

3.3 Transfers made after cancellation of the order will be returned by the organiser to the purchaser. The organiser reserves the right to charge a handling fee of 5€ per remittance. The purchaser is expressly permitted to prove that the organiser has suffered no or only substantially less damage as a result of the transaction.

4. Cancellation by the buyer

4.1 In principle, the purchase of a ticket is binding for the buyer. They are entitled to the statutory rights. However, plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. We know that, too. Therefore, irrespective of the existence of legal rights, buyers can cancel tickets that have already been paid for and tickets that have not been dispatched up to and including 20th of July 2020. The organiser retains an increased cancellation fee of 5€ per remittance.

4.2 We would like to point out that there is no legal right of revocation for tickets purchased for Connichi (§ 312g Abs. 2 Satz 1 Nr. 9 BGB).

5. Dispatch of tickets/collection at the box office

5.1 All ordered Connichi tickets will be shipped collectively in August 2020. No tickets can be shipped before or after this date. Tickets paid after 1st orf August, 2020 (receipt of payment, note 5.3) can be picked up at the box office.

5.2 The tickets will be sent to the address provided by the buyer during the ordering process. The change of the shipping address is possible via the ticket shop of Connichi. Any change must be notified in text form (e-mail to: by 20th of July, 2020 at the latest.

5.3 ATTENTION: If you have not paid for your ordered tickets by 30th of June, 2020 (date of reception of payment by us), your tickets cannot be shipped for logistical reasons. These tickets can then only be picked up at the box office. Please note that advance booking is possible until August 11th, 2020, but this does not mean that we can still ship your tickets. The date of receipt of payment up to and including 30th of June, 2020 is the decisive date for shipping!

6. Transferability of tickets

6.1 All normal Connichi visitor tickets are not personalized and therefore transferable. You can therefore pass them on to third parties. Please note, however, 6.3.

6.2 If a Gold Ticket is resold, the new “owner” must be reported to by 31th of August, 2020 in order to receive the Thank You Goodie. Without this notification of change, the claim to the goodie lapses.

6.3 The Connichi is an volunteer event under the motto “by fans, for fans”. In order to achieve a nationwide supply of tickets at the lowest possible prices and to prevent the resale of tickets at excessive prices, the organiser can restrict the transfer of tickets. By purchasing a ticket for the Connichi, the buyer expressly undertakes not to pass on the purchased tickets at a price higher than the price paid. Should the organiser learn that a buyer nevertheless resells tickets at a higher price, the organiser may refuse a future sale of tickets of any kind to the buyer and may ban the visitor from future events. Please do not support private ticket trading at increased prices!

III Visit of the Connichi

1. Event venue

The event venue (Congelände) includes all rooms of the Kongress-Palais Kassel including the inner courtyard, rose garden and forecourt, the 2nd floor of the H4-Hotel without roof terrace and the garden hall in the H4-Hotel.

2. Domiciliary rights
The domiciliary right is exercised by the organiser as well as their steward and security personnel / their convention volunteers. In addition, the rules of conduct for visiting the Connichi (house rules, costume and weapon rules) posted at the venue apply. These can be viewed on the website at:

3. The right to one’s own image
By entering the event, the visitor of the Connichi irrevocably agrees that the organiser may create, reproduce and publish video and photo recordings of the visitor as a participant of the Connichi in print and audiovisual media for information, documentation and advertising purposes. This consent is given without remuneration and is unlimited in time and space. The requirements of the Federal Data Protection Act and the DSGVO are complied with. All rights may also be transferred to third parties for the aforementioned purposes.

4. Security controls
At the entrance to the convention venue, a security check can be carried out by the security service / convention volunteers on site (e.g. bag checks). The visitors agree to this.

5. Behaviour of the visitors, house rules, house ban
The organiser reserves the right to deny a visitor entry to the convention venue for important reasons or to subsequently expel him/her from the convention venue. Important reasons include, but are not limited to, the carrying of prohibited items according to the rules on weapons and costumes, a violation of the house rules (can be viewed at:, a heavily intoxicated state of the visitor, if the visitor is obviously under the influence of drugs or shows an obvious sexist, racist, homophobic, or inhuman attitude. In the event of violation of the protection of minors or the house rules (, admission may also be refused or a visitor expelled from the site. The entrance fee will not be refunded in such a case. If a visitor commits or attempts a criminal offence (e.g. drug trafficking, theft, sexual assault, bodily injury, etc.) they will be expelled from the convention venue without prior warning and the incident will be reported to the police.

6. Closures
For security reasons, the organiser may temporarily or completely clear and close convention areas without this giving rise to a claim for partial reimbursement of the ticket price. The instructions of the organiser in this regard or the instructions of the personell commissioned by the organiser must be followed.
Access to convention areas with a limited capacity is only possible within the framework of officially approved spectator capacities. If the admission volume is exhausted, the organiser may temporarily restrict access. This does not justify any claim for partial reimbursement of the ticket price.

7. Program changes
Program changes can also occur with the Connichi – even at the last minute. There are no claims of the visitor due to changes of the program, guests of honour, acts etc..
